There is a bone marrow drive on Saturday, June 17th for a 16 year old boy with leukemia named Brian. He desperately needs a transplant and has a rare tissue type. AFRICAN AMERICANS are strongly encouraged to go to the donation, as Brian is African American and the chances of finding a match within one's own ethnic group is much higher. However, I would encourage anyone who can to go. Please donate, as it will only take about 15 minutes. The test is a cotton swab in the mouth. That's it. You could save someone's life.
